- Gates open at 6:00 pm near Newberry Street and The Alley.
- Admission: $10, under 6 free and $5 for students with a student ID (students over 18 they must show an ID to get student price).
- T-shirts cost $15 and those wearing a 2012 shirt get in free.
- T-shirts and Ride Bands may be purchased at Atlantic Broadband, Hitchcock Healthcare, Coach T's Diner, All-Star Rents, Lionel Smith Ltd. and Screenprint Factory.
- Ride bands are $20 in advance and $30 event day (ride bands get children in the gate.)
- 100 thoroughbred lobsters will compete in several heats leading to the main races that will be held at 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm.
- The children’s area features activities and interactive rides and games.
- Featured bands this year include Merging Traffic, Palmetto Groove, Anybody's Guess and Midnight Crossing.
- Many local restaurants will be on hand to provide food for festival goers as well as vendors on Newberry Street.
